Post production of Sound.

To finalise my sound, I had to fade in and out using volume levels, this made all audio transitions super clean and meant sounds would be really smooth whilst cutting to and from other clips.

I would also use volume to make the parts of documentary with more quiet audio louder making the interviews a lot easier to hear, as the original audio was very quiet.

Post production techniques

- BEFORE RGB CURVES COLOUR  CORRECTION

Using RGB curves can be all the colour correction you need to even out any artificial orange light into nice clean pure light which hasnt got a tint, you can also add a film matte effect via RGB curves

-AFTER RGB Curves

-BEFORE

Use of Luma curves
This curve controls the overall lumousity of the shot, so in a less colourful scenes you can bring up brightness without needing to mess with any other colors.

Rushes log & edit decisions

The edit was a simple cut edit with no fancy editing, which definitely wasn't needed within this documentary i kept it simple to keep the focus on the main subject of sneakers. I think if i was to re-edit this piece I would expand the second half over the first as the trip to crepe city was a lot more interesting than the interview within the bedroom of alex green.
