the act meant that the projector had to be enclosed in a fire resistant room in all commercial cinemas had to comply to

They started censorship due to several cinemas getting prosecuted due to insulting material.

Set Design
I did a 3 dimensional drawing of The set of the first interview;
I used a single camera to shoot this interview.
lighting was made by the lamp on interviewees desk.

Documentary update.
Still pretty soundless, took out the sound track due to it being too explicit for a younger age group, no voice over yet.
I have also put the Clips from Crepe city 12 in there including more interviews with other people..
Still need to Refilm the alex interview and will contain me talking instead of title slides on screen.

Rough cut review/feedback
This is obviously very unfinished so feedback from other students was a lot of what i knew i was already putting in such as needing to add the sound more interviews and voice overs.
Feedback
-Use less explicit music making this have a wider audience.
-make better use out of the titles
- Refilm the interview due to crackly sound, out of focus shots.
- Film more Clips as Crepe city 12 on saturday the 8th to get the full footage

Story & Narrative
Story & Narrative
Story;
The story never changes, This is where the script writers creativity is really shown, as the actually screening of the script will be a lot different from the written script as the directors may cut out small bits of the script but the story never changes. Story is NOT a synonym for Narrative.
Narrative;
The narrative is how the story is told. The Narrative is changed by the Director, this is due to costs and also for a chance to give the director their view and how they would shoot the scene.
Narrative Structure
Classical Hollywood Narrative Film Structure;
1. Exposition; Introduction to Key characters, and locations.
2. Development; In Depth introduction to the characters, help's you know the characters.
3. Complication; Something goes wrong, which effects the characters.
4. Climax; The problem gets sorted through a scene which gets heated up.
5. Resolution; Happy ending, the film is finished.
This is a LINEAR structure.
3 Act Structure;
1. Equilibrium; A balance, everything is fine.
2. Disequilibrium; A change in the balance, something goes wrong, a problem which will need to be solved.
3. New Equilibrium; A balance is achieved again.
A 3 Act structure is common in Television shows, such as soaps like Eastenders.

6 Ideas for Documentary.
6 Ideas.
1. A story from your local paper..
The new development around the Cambridge Rail Station, CB1.
i will make this documentary upon how Cambridge locals living around the station have been effected and their opinion upon this work being done, and is it a good idea to be quickly developing the most busy and valuable area of cambridge.
i will..
-Interview CB1 Locals upon their views of the development, good/bad points.
-Research the area history and lay it down for the viewer to develop their own opinion upon the issue.
2. A person i know.
this documentary would be on the life style of one of my friends who skates.
I would describe in this documentary about the lifestyle and what is so great about skating.
i would lay out the fun sides of skating the downfalls, i will do this by researching, laying down my own knowledge and interview other skaters for their opinion upon the lifestyle.
3. A Investigation into I'm interested in.
This is my number 1 choice for the documentary, as i have connects in the sneaker culture and also a connect to the next biggest sneaker event in the UK, Crepe City Sneakers.
In this documentary i will be laying down the good and bad points about the sneaker scene at this point in time.
4. A place.
For a Place i would do the Jesus Green skate park,
As the skate park has been changed in the recent years this may have effected skaters and other skate park users in many different ways,
Through interviews of the skate park users, and some who have been skating the park through the change will show if the skate park has actually improved and if it has been an issue with the skate park changing.
5. An Issue
For an issue i would bring the issue of having no smoking area at long road up, this is a strong subject for many students who are addicted to smoking.
To show this issue i would interview both sides of the debate, teachers and opposing students, Their response will let the audience decide for themself if the college has done the right thing in getting rid of the smoking area,
6. Autobiography
A documentary about me;
Although im pretty boring to most i still have subjects which I as a person cover, I would include many different hobbies, my eye for design and would include the sneaker and fashion world in my everyday lifestyle. I have to link the sneaker scene into my everyday regime to earn money by dealing with high end sneakers which over %75 of the time cost over £200 per pair even for worn sneakers.
